YETC was founded on 25 May 2022 in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya as a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping orphans, vulnerable youth and members of the host community.
Its core mission is to provide them with access to high-quality education, daily meals, entrepreneurial and vocational skills, emotional support and safe accommodation, thereby promoting their personal development and integration into the community.
