A self-taught introduction to personal and social development

People learn throughout their lives β€” about themselves, about others and about living together in communities.
However, social skills do not develop on their own. They develop through experience, reflection and conscious practice.

NADEUM therefore wants to offer its members, partners and interested parties a simple and accessible introduction:
the NADEUM 10-step programme for social skills.

This programme was designed as a first approach to personal development and social skills.
It is aimed at people of all ages and backgrounds β€” children and young people as well as adults, women and men, people with a refugee background as well as long-time residents.

The aim is to support people in understanding themselves better,

  • recognising their own strengths,
  • becoming more aware of their feelings and behaviour,
  • and developing social skills step by step.

The programme is deliberately structured in such a way that it can be worked through independently.

At the same time, NADEUM encourages participants not to do the exercises alone, but together with others β€” in small groups, in communities or in exchange with like-minded people. Learning together facilitates understanding, motivation and personal development.

For those who want to engage more intensively with social skills, this programme can serve as preparation for further training. It offers an initial insight into personal development processes and lays the foundation for later coaching or possible trainer qualification.

Participants can contact NADEUM at any time if they have questions or need support. The aim is to make paths clear, break down barriers and encourage people to take their own steps towards development.

The NADEUM 10-step programme is therefore an open learning opportunity:
an introduction to self-reflection, social skills and personal responsibility β€” at your own pace and in your own life context.

NADEUM recommends that the exercises be carried out in small groups if possible.
Learning together enables exchange, mutual support and a deeper understanding of social processes.
