🌍 Foreword to ‘Organisations – Institutions – Projects in Africa’
Many community-based organizations in Africa face the same challenge:
They know that countless organizations around the world are active in Africa, but they often do not know:
- Who does what?
- Who funds projects — and who does not?
- Who can provide technical or professional support, even without funding?
- Which organization fits our needs?
This page aims to provide guidance exactly at this point.
It presents governmental, private and international organizations that are active in Africa — regardless of whether they offer financial funding or not. Because support can take many forms:
expert knowledge, training, partnerships, technical advice, joint projects, or access to networks.
Each organization is described briefly and clearly:
- What they do
- What they do not do
- Who they may be relevant for
In this way, a clear guide is created that helps CBOs and SHGs find the right contacts — not only for funding, but also for knowledge, experience and collaboration.
Because sometimes a good partner is more valuable than a donor.
This page complements the International Donor Directory and shows:
Support has many faces — and each form can be a step toward a better future.
