NADEUM-WIKO and its partner organisations

To give you an overview of our partners in Africa, here are a few words about how we got to know them and gave them the opportunity to become part of our organisation. In 2023, we ventured to become more active in Africa and, through the locals, gained a little better understanding of this continent and also gained other impressions. In the course of these new members, we also got to know their point of view better. All those who had an active interest in working with us were asked if they would like to become members of NADEUM-WIKO. We waived the membership fees, which in Europe or the rest of the world would normally have to be paid to us in Vienna, Austria, for the new African members. This was because most of them only had casual jobs. 240 euros may be affordable for some, but NADEUM-WIKO felt that they would be better off investing this amount in their own countries. To our surprise, all Africans, from Sierra Leone to Liberia to Ghana and the DRC, as well as Kenya and Sudan, had founded associations. In 2024, NADEUM-WIKO recognised that African states were enabling their citizens to form these organisations in the hope that they would create jobs themselves. All associations are tax-exempt as long as they use the funds in the service of their associations’ causes.

NGO - Non Government Organisation

RPG - Rescue Perishing Generation

RPG-Africa is a non-governmental organisation founded by Amudo Amugili Koroma in Sierra Leone to provide young girls and women with a place where they can find greater safety. As rape and marriage of young women remain commonplace in Sierra Leone, this association offers them better protection and the opportunity to improve their education.
According to information available, there is an NGO called RPG Africa. Its activities are described as follows. In Bo City, Sierra Leone, there are several NGOs actively involved in various projects. One of these is RPG Africa, which focuses on supporting birthing centres and improving mother and child health. These NGOs often work together with local partner organisations to improve healthcare in the region and promote the training of midwives. The city of Bo is known for its challenges, particularly its healthcare system, which was severely affected by the civil war and the Ebola epidemic. NGOs such as RPG Africa play a crucial role in addressing these issues and improving the quality of life of the population.

NKA_Branch - NADEUM-KENYA-AFRICA_Branch

NADEUM-KENYA-AFRICA is a branch of NADEUM-WIKO (NADEUM changed its logo to NADEUM-WIKO in August 2025), headquartered in Vienna. This branch was founded with the active help of the headquarters by Mr Denis Cheruiyot Mitei, not only to have a partner in Africa, but also to gain a foothold in AFRICA. This is because the actual goal of NADEUM-WIKO is to build an African network. NADEUM-WIKO and its partner organisation GAFÉIAS in Austria realised that Africans, who, incidentally, receive a very good school education until the age of 18 thanks to their governments, should make better use of their knowledge in Africa. This continent needs these young people. In Europe, as in the rest of the world, their certificates are not respected and do not meet the standard. Our branch in Kenya should encourage Denis and his members to put their skills to use in Kenya or indeed in Africa.

CBO - Community-Based Organization

TfC - Teach for Community

It was founded by Barnaba Osman Kwanjeli from Sudan. He and his partner Yussif Ismael Makram established this association to introduce young women to the digital world and give them the opportunity to build their own businesses independently and autonomously.

SACVI - Social Action Centre for Vulnerable Induviduales

It was founded by Mr André Lutula Lefils, a Congolese national, to teach children the basics in a kind of primary school. As he is a trained teacher, he felt it was important to provide education for the children in the UNHCR Kakuma Camp.
He came to Kenya as a young refugee via Tanzania and was then educated in this camp.

YETC - Youth Education and Talent Center

Mr Kiza Echisco founded this association to bring children closer to nature. He planted young trees with them and taught them basic concepts as if in a primary school (elementary school + nursery school).

EAT - Edenic Agricultural Transformation

EAT was founded by Mr Moses Nbongorlii Brimaganda Moses during our social skills training course ‘Light Your Fire’ and with the encouragement of the President of NADEUM-WIKO.

SHG -Self Help Groups

SRB5C - South Rockies Baseball 5 Club

This self-help group was founded by Eli Kiprono, Ebeneza Kipngetich and Denis Cheruiyot Mitei during the COVID pandemic. They realised that many young people, both boys and girls, did not know what to do with their time and wanted to get involved in drug dealing. This association was founded to prevent this and to give young people a perspective.

WWF23 - Wasini Waste Free 23

This self-help group was founded by Mr Bilali Abdalla Bilali to combat plastic pollution around his home town of Wasisni Island, an island in the Indian Ocean. Unfortunately, the ocean washed enormous amounts of plastic waste onto the coast of this island, which is actually a tourist magnet. Through training and his own experience, he realised how precious a healthy environment is. This self-help group collects the plastic waste and sells it to traders on the mainland. The proceeds enable the island’s inhabitants to earn extra income from fishing.

LC or TC - Learn Center or Training Center

SLTTC - Sierra Leone Technology Training Centre

This current self-help group was founded by Mr. Lebbie Ibrahim in BO City after he became a NADEUM-WIKO member and learned about the social skills training programme ‘Light Your Fire’. He was so motivated by Andreas, our Secretary General and trainer, that he decided to implement his idea in Sierra Leone rather than going to Europe, which is one of the most dangerous routes for refugees. He founded this self-help group together with several others.
