Introduction
The following vision exercise is one of the central steps in the NADEUM-WIKO social skills training programme.
It helps you to identify your personal life goals more clearly and to formulate them consciously.
Many people have wishes or ideas about their future without expressing or recording them in concrete terms. Only when goals and visions are clearly defined does inner orientation emerge. You then have a better idea of where you want to go and what development makes sense for you personally.
This exercise helps you to consciously perceive your own abilities, values and visions of the future and to put them into an understandable form. It is not about perfection, but about being honest with yourself. Your answers may change and evolve over time — the important thing is that you get started.
Take enough time for each of the following nine points. Think about them, reflect on them and formulate your thoughts in a way that feels right for you. There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answer. Your personal view is what counts.
If you find some of the questions difficult at first, that’s normal. For many people, thinking about their own vision is unfamiliar territory. With each step, clarity will grow.
Please document your answers carefully so that you can refer back to them later and track your progress. Your vision forms the basis for the rest of the training exercises.

Ask your subconscious mind to provide you with images of what your ideal life would look like if you could design it exactly as you wish. First, create a relaxed environment and ask your subconscious mind to provide you with images that correspond exactly to your ideas.

Completion of the vision exercise
Once you have worked through all nine points, you will have a first written draft of your personal vision.
This vision is not a fixed outcome, but a starting point. It can evolve as you gain experience, learn new things and set new goals. The important thing is that you have begun to consciously formulate your life goal.
Take a moment to read through your answers again at your leisure. Check whether they form a coherent whole and whether your wording truly expresses what is important to you. If necessary, you can adjust or clarify your statements at any time.
Your vision forms the basis for the further exercises in the social skills training. It serves as a guide and reminds you of the direction you have chosen for your life.
Next step
The next step in the training is to apply your vision in the success principles exercises.
