**General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
of the NADEUM-WIKO association**

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the use of the website, membership and cooperation within the framework of projects, programmes and collaborations of the association (registered under the name NADEUM) NADEUM-WIKO, based in Vienna.
1. Scope
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to
- members of the NADEUM-WIKO association,
- project and cooperation partners,
- as well as visitors to the NADEUM-WIKO website.
1.2 Any deviating or supplementary agreements must be made in writing.
1.3 Legally independent branches or partner organisations are additionally subject to their own rules and regulations and the respective national legal provisions.
2. Purpose of the association and services
2.1 NADEUM-WIKO is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO/NPO).
The association pursues objectives in the following areas in particular:
- Knowledge transfer and education,
- Promotion of social skills,
- Sustainable organisational and project development,
- Peaceful conflict prevention and resolution,
- International and interregional cooperation.
2.2 The association’s activities are generally carried out free of charge and within the framework of voluntary, non-profit work.
2.3 Project-related cost reimbursements or consulting services may be agreed upon if:
- NADEUM-WIKO is expressly requested to actively participate and
- a separate, written project or cooperation agreement exists for this purpose.
2.4 There is no entitlement to specific services, results or successes.
3. Membership
3.1 Membership of the association is governed by the currently valid statutes of NADEUM-WIKO.
3.2 Members undertake to
- support the objectives of the association,
- observe the association’s internal rules and resolutions,
- and not to harm the activities of the association.
3.3 Membership may be terminated at any time in accordance with the statutes.
4. Projects, programmes and collaborations
4.1 Participation in projects, programmes or training courses may be subject to organisational requirements (e.g. registration, membership, partner status).
4.2 The content, recommendations and concepts of NADEUM-WIKO do not constitute any legal, economic or political obligation for third parties.
4.3 Responsibility for the implementation of recommendations, projects or models lies exclusively with the respective recipients (e.g. organisations, institutions, states).
5. Website use
5.1 The contents of the website serve to provide information about the objectives, activities and projects of NADEUM-WIKO.
5.2 NADEUM-WIKO accepts no responsibility for:
- the topicality,
- accuracy,
- completeness or
- permanent availability of the website.
5.3 Linked external content is beyond the control of NADEUM-WIKO.
6. Liability
6.1 NADEUM-WIKO shall only be liable for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
6.2 Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages or lost profits is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
6.3 NADEUM-WIKO accepts no liability for the implementation of recommendations, concepts or information.
7. Intellectual property
7.1 All content, texts, concepts and materials belonging to NADEUM-WIKO are protected by copyright.
7.2 Use is only permitted:
- for the intended purpose,
- within the scope of the association’s objectives and
- without changing the content
unless a separate agreement has been made.
7.3 Any further use requires the express consent of NADEUM-WIKO.
8. Data protection
8.1 NADEUM-WIKO processes personal data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable national data protection laws.
8.2 The current privacy policy (GDPR) on the NADEUM-WIKO website is authoritative.
9. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions
9.1 NADEUM-WIKO reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions as necessary.
9.2 Amendments shall be published on the website and shall come into effect upon publication.
10. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
10.1 Austrian law shall apply exclusively, excluding international private law.
10.2 For disputes with entrepreneurs, the competent court in Vienna shall be agreed upon.
10.3 For consumers, the statutory provisions on jurisdiction shall apply.
11. Local legal systems of branches
11.1 Legally independent branches or partner organisations of NADEUM-WIKO are additionally subject to the law of the country in which they are registered.
11.2 Claims relating to the activities of a branch must primarily be asserted in accordance with local regulations.
