Compassion, integrity, respect, determination, teamwork, sense of responsibility. Goals:
- Improving the digital and educational skills of women, teenage mothers and young girls in the local community.
- Developing and promoting digital literacy and entrepreneurial skills in local communities.
- Equipping the community with digital skills to improve career opportunities and economic growth.
- Improve communication skills by providing women with access to relevant digital tools and platforms.
Teach for Community (TFC) is a registered community-based organisation (CBO) based in Kakuma, Turkana West, Kenya. TFC was founded on 23 November 2023 and works to empower displaced refugee women by providing them with digital skills, entrepreneurship and ICT training. The organisation operates as a non-profit, voluntary self-help group focused on reducing digital illiteracy among refugees and host communities.
